The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Arizona State University (ASU) offers 160 graduate scholarships from 2025 to 2030.
This programme provides online degrees with in-person support from Kepler College in Rwanda.

For fall 2025, 40 scholars will be selected for the following online master’s programmes:

Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation
- MEd Learning Design and Technologies
Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering
- MS Information Technology
- MSE Sustainable Engineering
Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition coverage for the two-year programme.
- On-campus accommodation during the required in-person sessions.
- Individual mentorship and leadership development.
- Participation in a two-month summer intensive at ASU in the United States between the first and second year.
Who Can Apply
To qualify, candidates must:
- Meet academic and English language requirements.
- Be an African citizen committed to ethical leadership and community engagement.
- Be between 18 and 33 years old.
- Have completed an undergraduate degree by July 2025.
- Have no prior graduate degree started or completed before August 2025.
- Reside in Kigali, Rwanda for the programme duration.
